UTK/Kinder New Students
Dear Parent/Guardian,
On behalf of the staff at Calahan Elementary School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child as we begin the new academic year. We are thrilled to have your student join our school community and are excited to work together to ensure a successful and enjoyable educational experience.
To kick off the year, we invite you to attend our UK/Kinder Orientation on August 10th at 10:00 am in the auditorium. This is an excellent opportunity to meet your child's teacher, learn more about our curriculum, and get a glimpse into what's in store for the upcoming year.
Here's the plan for the day:
- Parents will gather in the auditorium where important information will be shared.
- While parents are in the auditorium, our school staff will supervise the students on the yard, allowing for a safe and enjoyable experience.
- After the orientation session, both parents and students will have the chance to visit the classroom together, and meet the teachers.
Before you leave, be sure to stop by our Parent Center to receive assistance with setting up your Parent Portal account and sign up to volunteer in the classroom or school. We value your involvement and appreciate your support in making this year a memorable one for your child!
