Mission Statement

Calahan Elementary School cooperates with the families it serves to provide a challenging educational program within a caring environment, attentive to the comprehensive development of all students. Children from a diversity of ethnic, cultural, economic, and religious backgrounds come together for an active and varied curricular and extracurricular program. The mission of Calahan Elementary School is to form academically capable, principled contributors to the future.

Annual Forms Are Now Online!

Completing your child's annual forms is now easier than ever!
Visit enroll.lausd.net, click on Complete Annual Forms, and sign in using your Parent Portal email and password. From there you can complete all of your required forms online, no more paper forms needed!

Enroll Now for the 2026/2027 School Year

If you have already submitted an enrollment packet we will be sending out a welcome letter around the end of July with information about the new school year and the orientation date for TK/Kinder students.
